Within the Air Transport Settlement System (ATSS), the electronic forms of ATSS Standard Traffic Documents (ATSS STDs) are being used to issue contracts for air transportation of passengers, baggage, and associated services.

ATSS Standard Traffic Documents meet international standards. The information related to Form Codes 610 – 619 for different types of ATSS traffic documents appear in a Conference Resolutions Manual of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The range of ATSS STDs is allocated depending on the method of the issuance of transportations/ancillary services. For ATSS electronic miscellaneous documents (EMDs) and ATSS electronic documents with Service Type Codes 20, 71, 75, 76, 81, 90, 95, and 98, the serial numbers are generated from the range with Form Code "10".

The electronic forms of ATSS Standard Traffic Documents are an e-ticket and Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) . The EMD is used to issue passenger ancillary services, and different fees/charges collected from a passenger. Ancillary services may also be issued on ATSS electronic documents.

A number of an ATSS e-ticket or ATSS EMD is generated by the Electronic Ticketing Centre of TCH (TCH ETC) from the relevant stock of ATSS traffic documents during the process of issuance of a transportation/service. Airlines are not required to allocate the ranges of the numbers of traffic document between agencies because this function is performed by TCH ETC in a centralized way.

Transportations are issued on ATSS STDs in compliance with the "ATSS Standard Traffic Documents Ticketing Handbook" (in Russian language).
