In pursuance with effective rules, TCH provides services on provision of statistical data pertaining to civil aviation performance generated based on official statistical reporting. Regulatory documents for arrangement of statistical monitoring, form of statistical reporting and indicators of civil aviation performance are available in "Guide for Air Tr​ansport Statistics" (in Russian).

TCH offers the following services on provision of statistical data pertaining to civil aviation approved for publication:

1. Key performance indicators of Russian Civil Aviation and airlines: volume of operations and transportation with a breakdown for domestic and international, scheduled and non-scheduled flights – data will be supplied every month from January to the reporting month of the current year.

2. Transportation via Russian airports: with a breakdown for domestic and international, scheduled and non-scheduled flights - data will be supplied every month for reporting month or for the period from January to the reporting month of the current year.

3. Transportation by Russian airlines between flight points: with a breakdown for domestic and international flights - data will be supplied every month for reporting month or for the period from January to the reporting month of the current year.

4. Ranking of 35 Russian airlines: passenger traffic, tonne-kilometers, freight traffic, transportation of passengers, cargo (mail) – data will be supplied every month from January to the reporting month of the current year.

5. Ranking of 35 Russian airports: departed and arrived passengers, loaded and unloaded freight and mail – data will be supplied every month from January to the reporting month of the current year.

6. Ranking of transportation between flight points: passenger, freight, and mail traffic between flight points (50 routes) - data will be supplied every month for a reporting month or for the period from January to the reporting month of the current year.

7. Annual informational statistical digests:

For reporting year and previous years:

  • Information about air transport (2000 – reporting year) and Russian airlines 
  • Information  about transportation services through major airports of Russia
  • Information about transportation services between flight points

Over the previous years:

  • Information about air transport (2000 – 2010) and Russian airlines (2001-2010).
  • Information about transportation services through major airports of Russia for 2000-2010.
  • Information about transportation services between flight points for 2000-2010.
  • Previous releases of informational digests for 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016 (data for 2 years).

8. Selected indicators of the statistics of the RF civil aviation

TCH may provide any selected statistical indicators permitted for publication. Form of statistical reporting and indicators of the RF civil aviation performance are available in "Guidelines for Civil Aviation Statistics" (in Russian).

How fast are statistical data supplied?

On a monthly basis, the supplied data are uploaded on TCH's website in the "Access to Statistical Data" Section on the 45th day after reporting period in Excel format and remain available until the 1st of March of the year following the reporting year.

Annual digests for reporting year are issued no later the 1st of September of the year following the reporting year and emailed in Excel format. The data on selected indicators shall be prepared no earlier than the 45th day after reporting period and shall be emailed in Excel format.
